Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, and around here that means it’s also the official kickoff of summer concert season. Between Boston Calling and stacked lineups across New England, the region’s about to get loud in the best way possible.
At Bent Water, we’re huge fans of live music (paired with great beer, of course), so we pulled together a list of shows we’re excited about this summer, from festival headliners and indie legends to hometown stages that hit close to home.
Boston Calling Music Festival May 23–25 | Harvard Athletic Complex, Boston This year’s lineup features headliners Fall Out Boy, Dave Matthews Band, and Luke Combs, along with performances by Megan Moroney, Avril Lavigne, T-Pain, Vampire Weekend, Public Enemy, and more.
Jet May 31 | Roadrunner, Boston The Aussie rockers are back and celebrating the 20 year anniversary of their breakthrough album Get Born. Expect a raucous night of hits, nostalgia, and singalongs.
Smino June 7 | Roadrunner, Boston A genre-blending set that moves between funk, soul, hip hop, and jazz with one of the most magnetic performers on the mic today.
Mumford & Sons June 20 | Xfinity Center, Mansfield Folk rock anthems and massive choruses under the summer sky. You already know every word.
Lynn Music Festival June 21 | Red Rock Park, Lynn Right in our backyard. Celebrate local talent with live performances, food vendors, and views of the ocean.
TV on the Radio July 30 | Roadrunner, Boston An essential band of the 2000s makes a rare return. Come for the art-rock, stay for the catharsis.
Megan Moroney August 1 & 2 | Roadrunner, Boston One of country’s fastest rising stars, playing back-to-back nights. Her honest lyrics and powerhouse vocals are earning fans by the minute.
Stevie Nicks August 12 | TD Garden, Boston A legend returns. Catch the queen of rock live in a show that’s equal parts nostalgia and magic.
The Who August 26 | Fenway Park, Boston Still bringing it. Still loud. Still essential. The Who rocks Feway with decades of iconic hits.
Nine Inch Nails August 29 | TD Garden, Boston Cap off your summer with a raw, powerful, immersive show from one of the most influential bands of their era.
Wherever you find your soundtrack this summer – festival lawn, city street, front row or way in the back – we hope it’s loud, joyful, and unforgettable. We’ll see you in the crowd.
