Start your day with coffee and bagels at One Mighty Mill. One Mighty Mill is an excellent spot in Downtown Lynn that many don’t know about. It’s a great place to start your day, as they offer a variety of bagels made from freshly milled flour and a selection of tasty spreads and toppings. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the warm, inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a flavorful breakfast.
After you fuel up at One Mighty Mill, hit Dungeon Rock, which is one of the best-kept secrets in Lynn. Dungeon Rock has an intriguing history many have not heard before. The site is known for its association with a pirate named Thomas Veal, who allegedly buried his treasure in the area. In the 1850s, Hiram Marble, an early American spiritualist, claimed to have communicated with Veal’s ghost and subsequently spent decades excavating the rock in search of the treasure. Despite the efforts, no treasure was found. Today, Dungeon Rock stands as a fascinating historical site, drawing visitors interested in its mysterious past.
After searching for pirate treasure at Dungeon Rock, check out a cool shopping stop that feels like you’re traveling back in time: Bobby’s of Boston. Hungry again? We get it. Lynn has some of the best food spots on the North Shore, and it’s definitely hard to choose. Check out one of our favorite spots: Papi Vivi’s. Papi Vivi’s brings the taste of New York to the North Shore. Founded in 2015, Papi Vivi’s was born from a shared love between a father and daughter for their family’s Puerto Rican recipes. The menu offers mouth-watering sandwiches like triplets, chopped cheeses, and more.
