At Bent Water Brewing, we genuinely believe in performing at our peak in all things: investing in state-of-the-art equipment and processes, supporting multiple causes and organizations that resonate with our team and community like the YMCA, Beyond Walls, and NEMBA, and challenging ourselves to continue to make the highest quality beer you can pull from a shelf. 

This isn’t to paint the picture that we never take time to unwind. It’s just that many of us aren’t particularly good at slowing down, even in our personal lives – opting for activities like hikes, fishing, and mountain biking in our spare time. We’re a passionate, active group of people who throw ourselves into our work and our personal hobbies, a group of surfers, climbers, skiers, a DJ, and even a pair of mysterious gorillas that seem to like a variety of the same activities that we do. 

But let’s not forget what ties everyone on our team together: a love for the product that we work tirelessly to produce daily. And we believe that there should be a beer for every occasion. 

This week we are releasing a beer that we’ve been excitedly discussing and planning for over a year. Chill is a clean, crisp, good-for-any-occasion American Light Lager with a low ABV of 4.2%. Test batches were quickly well-received by the staff for the beer’s smooth body and incredible drinkability. It’s the lightest and most crushable beer we’ve ever made, and the timing of its arrival is perfect. 

With summer on our doorsteps and visions of beach volleyball, campfires, and hikes in our heads, we can’t think of a better beer to pair with the season of outdoor adventures and yes, even that small period of time when even the most active among us take a breather and Chill.
